I’m a bit event-addicted so people keep asking me about events related to IT & business. As I’m tired of e-mailing I just gonna create blog post.

IT&Business related events:

• 4th March 18:00 / First Wednesday Club (121 marketing) / Free event – event created by LinkedIn group. As far as I know they had 1-2 meetings already and a lot of people have been suggesting me this.
• 4th March 18:30 / Network Dublin (International Women’s day) / Invitation only event – this event is hosted by IIA
• 5th March 10:00 / OpenCoffee Dublin / Free – amazing way to meet other fellow IT people around Dublin
• 5th March 14:00 / API Wars and Opportunities / Free – another IT person meetup
• 5th March 18:00 / The Nitty Gritty of Technical Talks / GGD meetup – I wanna go but I’m not sure they still have places left
• 5th March 19:00 / ALT.NET Dublin / free – might be a very technical but at the same time very, very interesting meeting.
• 6th March 08:30 / Future of Web Apps / 175eur – international conference. I’m going to Fowa Dublin courtesy of IrishDev.com
• 7th March 10:00 / Bizcamp.ie / free – all booked unfortunately but I would definitely suggest people to go to any BarCamps as they give very good value
• 11th March 18:00 / Signature Speed Networking / 40eur – great event to get more networking
• 12th March 18:00 / Grooving and Improving / another GGD meetup
• 26th March / Connector.ie meeting / free – haven’t been to any yet, but definetly want to go. The amount of people attending is quite big.
• 28th March 09:00 / OSSBarCamp / free – be sure to book it as it is another great BarCamp event. Also there will be GGD event after.
• 31th March / LINK! networking / guests or members only – if you are still searching for the right networking group for you, why not to try this one and see if it’s for you?
• 1st April / Search Marketing World 2009 / 395eur – check their website for more info
• 25th April all day / BarCamp Belfast / free – I went to the one last year and it was good, by good I mean really, really good
• 21-22th May all day / IIA Annual Congress & Net Visionary Awards / different prices for members and non-members – if you are not nominated yet, go to Net Visionary Awards as nominations are open only till 27th March

Everything else:

• From 12th of March St.Patricks day festival is starting. Check out events on their webpage
• Easter @ Chocolate Warehouse – very nice event for kids (and myself as I’m chocoholic)
• Fort Lucan is open now – great for day out
